This morning I blogged about yesterday and worked on social media. Yessica and I are doing our best to flesh out the content calendar for the rest of the year. We’ve been filling in any of the blanks wether those be captions or graphics. I looked at a holiday calendar and made a few filler stories for things like the 4th of July and Veterans day. I did research for gastric cancer awareness month. For volunteer appreciation week, we’re gifting each volunteer a UCBC Cares sweatshirt so I made a little thank you card to be wrapped up with each one. It’s amazing how fast I can whip up something cute on Canva now that I’ve had so much practice. I printed and cut them out so we’re ready to attach them whenever the sweatshirts are ready. We had lunch then checked in the volunteers and gave them bundtinis to show our appreciation. Once they were all settled we had a meeting to indoctrinate the new intern. She’s a masters student so she has her own project to work on, but we taught her how the social media works, where everything is in our Canva, and what we do to support Molly and Amy. We gave her our best advice on how to be successful in the role. After that it was time for me to go home!
