Today was a good day! Amy asked me to pull statistics on all of the posts we made for Breast Friends to see the differences in performance. We’ve been working on some Breast Friends wrap up/accounting things since Amy has been meeting with her accountant. She also emailed me about an idea we talked about before that I’m really excited to work on! We’re going to make double sided breast self-exam and testicular self-exam door hangers for couples. UCBC has purchased breast self exam hangers from another website before, but we want to make one specific to us with our branding, website, and phone numbers. The hangers we’ve used before punch out each month after you’ve performed your exam so I did some research on where we could order something similar, but I couldn’t find what I wanted. I did a little work on them today, but I need to do some research to write the steps in my own words. Over the next week we are conducting group interviews with potential new volunteers. Today was the first group so I got to see how it works and interact with the interviewees. This was a super fun process, I love the way that Molly runs it because the questions are chill and the environment is very positive and energetic. We took notes on each applicant as they answered questions. Once we wrapped up, Molly guided them out of the building while Amy and I headed to lunch. Amy and I debriefed our thoughts on the applicants. Lunch was yummy southern food!
