Happy Monday! This morning I finished getting my posts from last week uploaded and finished writing my reflection. At 9am we had our weekly content meeting with Amy over Zoom. We mainly talked about summer content, specifically our ABCs of Cancer series. We workshoped the graphic template based on all of the options I made last week. We showed Amy the list of words we had brainstormed and she picked her favorite ones and gave us other ideas if she didn’t like ours. After this call I made all the graphics for the alphabet and Yessica started working on their captions. I made the graphics in a separate Canva doc from our other social media for easier access. I’m loving the captions Yessica has been working on! At 11am we had a meeting for an upcoming event called Growing Together. In this meeting we mainly talked about recruiting more families to attend since current registration is low. The social work team wants Yessica and I to work on calling families to personally invite them to the event and make sure they understand what it is since it can be hard to understand the jist of it from just a flyer. They are going to work on getting a list of families for us to contact. This event is being hosted in partnership with Kesem so I’m going to work on inviting our families and posting in collaboration with Kesem UGA. We also talked about the posting schedule for this event. I After the meeting we chatted in Amy’s office, talked to volunteers, ate lunch, and went home.
