Happy Monday! Today Yessica and I checked in the volunteers since Molly was still out of town. After they were all checked in we set up the huge inflatable colon in the lobby. Since March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month we have our inflatable colon up in the lobby all month. The colon is like a tunnel and inside the colon are different kinds of abnormalities someone might experience in their colon. Once we got it set up I took a video to post on our instagram story hyping it up! Amy sent us on our mission for the day to take Strollin flyers to a list of GI, PCP, and community health organizations in the area to invite them and have them help us promote the event. Yessica compiled the list of places to go last week. This took us about 2.5 hours so we didn’t have time to do much once we got back to the office. I ate my lunch and we all chatted about the day, last week, and upcoming tasks. Amy had a short list of people and organizations to reach out to about attending and having a booth at Strollin. I will get to the list tomorrow.
