- 6.4: Select methods and technologies used to deliver message(s).
- 6.4.3: Develop communication aids, materials or tools using appropriate multimedia (e.g., infographics, presentation software, brochures, and posters.
- The presentation I made for Amy’s manager meeting is not necessarily educational in a health sense, but educational to the other managers and C-suite members that support and promote the foundation. This presentation will keep them all informed of the important work we are doing and remind them to direct patients and their caregivers our way if they can benefit from our services.
- 6.4.3: Develop communication aids, materials or tools using appropriate multimedia (e.g., infographics, presentation software, brochures, and posters.
- 3.2: Deliver health education and promotion interventions.
- 3.2.3: Implement a marketing plan.
- We have been continually implementing our marketing plan for Strollin, Mind Over Matter, and Growing Together. Each of these health promotion related events are our responsibility to promote through social media as well as signage and flyers around the building. I’ve been in communication with our social work team about Mind Over Matter and Growing Together advertisements. For Strollin, I’ve mostly been going off of what Amy wants and Yessica and I have following a similar content plan as Breast Friends.
- 3.2.3: Implement a marketing plan.
Reflection of Week 7
- As Strollin is fast approaching, we did a lot for it this week in terms of meetings and advertising. It’s been awesome to see all of the pieces falling into place over the past few weeks and being more involved in the planning process compared to Breast Friends. It was super fun to pass out lunches to patients and their caregivers on Wednesday! It’s amazing that our community is so strong and so willing to give back. I’m just so grateful to be doing work that is meaningful to me and making a real impact on people’s lives.
