Nothing Bundt Cakes

Working at a bakery allowed me to gain an appreciation for the multitude of steps in the creation process. I’ve worked as a guest service representative, crafter, froster, and marketer. In each of these positions I gained new skills and faced new challenges. Interacting with customers has been my favorite part of this job because I get to be the person to bring them joy in the form of cake and kindness. The skills I’ve gained working in customer service will help me in all future roles.

Dining In

Similar to my experience working at a bakery, working as a server for more sophisticated groups has prepared me to interact with people at many different levels. This job has also taught me the importance of communication and collaboration in running an event smoothly.

AR Workshop

I worked as an instructor for classes of children and adults making canvas and wood projects. Working with such a range of ages taught me how to tailor my teaching techniques to different audiences. This will help me in career as I want to go into health education. This job allowed me a lot of creative liberty while assisting customers with design choices and while making pieces to display in the shop. I loved learning how to use power tools and empowering customers to use them as well.
