Today was a crazy day! We started our morning at the main building where Yessica and I finished our blogs and reflections of last week. It was so crazy busy that we didn’t have time earlier to work on it. There were a few volunteers in new positions this morning so I helped Molly give them the rundown of how to run the cart. Once all the volunteers were settled Molly drove us to GI to meet Amy to pack up everything we left there after Strollin on Saturday to take back to the main office. Molly and Amy left to do other things so Yessica and I were left with the task of cleaning and deflating the reusable balloon arches we used this weekend and will continue to use for all of our other events. They were all covered in pollen so we had to wipe them down and they were so hard to deflate it took us forever. We took a snack break and ate some of the leftover Chick-Fil-A from Saturday. When Amy got back to the office we loaded everything else into her car and drove back to the main building for lunch. Lunch was from Ruby Tuesday and it was really weird. After lunch we went back to breast to unload and organize everything we brought back. At Strollin we had people write on big signs who they get screened for and we stuck them in the ground around the race route. Yessica and I went around the front of the building and the parking lot and stuck the signs around to keep them in use a little longer and to show the impact of Strollin. I took pictures of the signs so we can make a cute post out of them. After this we headed home for the day.
