Today it was just Amy and I in the office. The first thing I did this morning was add all the photos I’ve taken for anything internship related to the UCBC Cares photo circle so I could delete them off my phone and everyone else could access them if they need them. Just before 8:30 I headed up to the 3rd floor to greet volunteers as they arrived for their shifts. After all the volunteers checked in Amy got to the office and gave me some more things to take back to our storage unit in breast health. We took everything down to her car so I could drive it over and organize it all. When I got back I organized all of the donated items in Molly’s office. Usually they are just on the desk and floor, but there was room in the cabinets for me to fit everything so I put it in there to declutter. For the rest of the morning Amy and I worked on writing thank you cards to donors to the foundation. The last thing we did before lunch was receive a bunch of books donated from ZTA. They had a book drive that collected 400 books for different local organizations. They gave us 100 books to pass out to our patients while receiving infusions. On Monday I’ll add stickers to all the books that show they came from the foundation. Finally, we had Maepole for lunch. It was delicious! We talked to the reps who brought lunch today because Amy knows them and they will be at our vendor fair in March. Also our national caregivers day post went out today!
