This morning started with blogging about yesterday while checking in volunteers. Molly had something to do so I came upstairs to make sure the volunteers were doing okay and hung out with a volunteer whose first shift was today until Molly could get back to take her on a tour and get her settled. Once all the volunteers arrived I went into Amy’s office to show her the Look Good Feel Better recap post I worked on yesterday. She loved the graphic and rewrote my caption. I scheduled it to post this afternoon! My big task of the day has been creating slides for Liz the cosmetologist to use when leading Look Good Feel Better workshops. I used the national website to help me go through the steps of the workshop. I also used a lot of photos from the website because they are perfectly diverse and representative of all kinds of people that cancer affects. I didn’t edit the text on the slides from the template yet because I’m not sure what Liz wants any of it to say so I’ll work on that once I get some feedback! I also helped Molly find all of the flyers she needed to print for the bulletin board in Monroe. She’s planning to go on Thursday so we needed to get it all ready. I made a flyer with QR codes of our social media for people to scan and follow. I also made a general flyer for the foundation, what we do, and how to learn more.
