Today has been a busy day! I started my morning going to the GI office because we had a Strollin meeting at 9am. I planned to blog, but when I got there Molly was already there and needed help making goodie bags for Breast Friends on Saturday so I helped her with that. Molly, Caroline, and myself worked on prepping and packing the bags for about 45 minutes when Amy called needing help. She had me help her design ads for sponsors of Breast Friends coming up this Saturday. We worked hard on those for a while then went to the breast health building to talk about it with other people involved in the event. Then there was a new volunteer that needed training so I headed back to the main building while Amy stayed at breast. She was new to the second floor position so I taught her the ropes and got her comfortable. I stayed and chatted with them for a while because they were sweet and fun! Once they were all trained I grabbed lunch and met Amy back in her office. We called Molly to check on her and she needed our help so we went back over to GI to help her finish the goodie bags we had started in the morning. As a team we were able to knock them out so we could all go home. I stayed late today to help with everything for Breast Friends. It was a chaotic day, but we did good work as a team!
